Food Magix
Food Magix provides all kinds of food promotions from all over the World. Established in 2005 May, we started with AsiaSpice as our theme and we started our first promotion in Xiamen, Fujian Province with the South East Asia Food Promotion. Later on we took on the challenges from Fuzhou Shangri La in August with the Singapore Food promotion then to Quanzhou Yeohwa in September for the South East Asia promotion. For the beginning it is tought to secure clients and their trust on our company.

In 2006, we launched with our first Thai promotion with chef Supot then added in with chef Piyapong for the Thai food promotion. With the support of the Royal Thai Consulate General of Xiamen we enhanced our Thai promotion into another level with cultural troops. Also with the support of Tourism Malaysia, we also brought our Malaysian Food Promotions into another recognition in the F & B industry in China. With supports from the two government bodies we built our network rapidly within a year.

In 2007, was the year which i have the most memories and the year which we will go all out for! It was a Visit Malaysia 2007 Year and we were solely appointed by Tourism Malaysia as the Official events company with the whole Shangri La chains in China. That was where we got the strongest hotel chains network business in China and tasks to be fulfilled. To be very frank, i work it out all with my father Chef K.B Ng at the start and only 2 company staffs to conquere fulfill this project from the back scene. We started our first project in Xiamen Sheraton where was tough because the Managements are very new and disorganise which causes embaressment and shame when they invited the Malaysia Consulate General and Tourism Director and they were not able to give a complimentary room to one of them. To start with difficulties is always better than smooth sailing. Then we carried out the road trip to Quanzhou, Fuzhou, Wuyi Mountain, Suzhou, Shanghai, Haerbin, Shenyang, Xian, Wuhan, Kunshan, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Dalian, Shenzhen, Huizhou, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Changzhou, Wuxi, Hefei...

Was a sucessful year, where schedules were tight and manpower were shortage. At that time, i have got no choice but to be a Chef of Malaysia too. Forcing myself to learn to prepare the cuisines and interpretion with my peers around China, i did manage to do some nice Malaysian food and ended up being a Tea Show demonstrator as well. Things were not going our way, as for the begining there were some problems already. Not to our expectations, one of our guest chefs passed away at Shenzhen Airport on the 8th of September before he board his flight. He was my good friend and i felt so depressed about his death, he was already 58 years old and he is still moving well in the kitchen and doing the Tea Show demonstration with his classical dance steps.

Then we completed the road trip with the final promotion at Wuxi Sheraton. The innovations came in for 2008, which i have interest to expand our business to be International rather than Asia. Therefore, we took on the name of Food Magix. From there, i invited Mexican, French, Turkish, Egyptian, Italian, Brazilians to come join our network and walk the whole of China together.
